Tuesday - Green Team Tate Modern Trip!

On day 2 we arrived at the library as usual and completed some more puzzles (or at least tried to).

Our coach arrived at about five to nine to take us to the Tate Modern. At the Tate Modern we saw a conglomeration of different painting movements and techniques. One painting that stood out among the other paintings was ‘Three Figures and Portrait’ by Francis Bacon, which features two twisting figures and a bird-like form all being watched over by a portrait. The twisting figures are supposed to be Francis Bacons lover, George Dyer, who committed suicide, and the bird-like form one of the Furies, the fearsome agents of divine judgement in Greek mythology.
